There have never been as many opportunities to make a positive difference in the world as there are today. Just look at what we’ve accomplished in the past year:

In Ukraine, Volodomyr and his crew of “angels” drove truckloads of Americares medicine and medical supplies over the border from Poland in the dark of night, no matter what the weather. “Angels never sleep,” he says.

In Missouri, Pam was living a shelter when she began receiving medicine and treatment for diabetes and other health conditions, thanks in part to you. Now Pam is healthy, with a job and a home where she welcomes her grandchildren.

And in Colombia, I met a young mother, Dayana, who, when five months pregnant, walked for days from her home in Venezuela into Colombia, leaving behind family to search for prenatal care and other health services. Dayana found care at — and continues to rely on — an Americares clinic in Colombia.

Together with our incredible team at Americares, you make this and so much more possible. Our diverse and global team ensures every Americares health program is effective, our worldwide network of partnerships is strong and local stakeholders provide vital input that helps shape our every action.
